ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions

Activities

MRO Supply

The demand for spare parts in industrial plants encompasses various stages, from initial setup to emergency replacements and routine maintenance. However, procurement of these parts has frequently been associated with challenges such as high costs, delays in delivery, and a lack of insight into customers’ strategic requirements.

Project Sales

When a project is awarded, EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies face multiple challenges, especially if they are from a foreign land and temporarily stationed for the project’s duration. Everything from the new location, team, sourcing, supplier management, logistics, storage, to payments poses challenges that must be navigated to ensure timely project delivery.

International Procurement

ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions has a demonstrated history of effectively acquiring maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) spares over the previous years. ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions has overseen significant MRO expenditures for prominent Saudi enterprises across various industrial sectors. MRO procurement presents a formidable challenge, involving a diverse and intricate array of highly technical products and specialized services.

Local Procurement

Local procurement presents challenges due to the small values of commodities purchased and the diverse range of categories they fall under. The extensive supplier base adds complexity for buyers, leading to the following challenges:
Suppliers offering diverse pricing
Quality discrepancies

VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)

ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions has gone steps ahead in helping both our supplier and customer on the material management by introducing Vendor Managed Inventory. We have signed agreements with various manufacturers and maintain inventory for specific customers or market segments. This enables customers to reduce their inventory levels.

Supplier Reduction

Procurement’s tendency to engage with numerous suppliers, often for one-off purchases, results in the management of countless individual contracts, significant time investment in vendor communication, and extensive resources spent on establishing new vendor accounts. Maintaining this expansive supplier database proves both time-consuming and costly. Furthermore, as the supplier count escalates, several challenges emerge, including increased pricing, complexities in information sharing.

Brand Management

As a European manufacturer venturing into new markets in the Middle East, you may face geographical, cultural, and language barriers. Building trust and confidence with potential customers without a local presence or network of trading partners can be challenging. However, there’s a solution to simplify this process. ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions serves as an authorized and exclusive channel partner for brands like yours seeking to expand business activities in targeted countries or regions within the Middle East.

Lump Sum Turnkey

With access to all major manufacturing hubs across the globe and partnerships with thousands of manufacturers, we are well-positioned to assist customers in replacing obsolete equipment or upgrading and retrofitting existing equipment. For projects requiring turnkey solutions (Lump Sum Turnkey), our in-house companies can execute such projects efficiently.

Showrooms

We have initiated a new business model where we will establish a chain of showrooms to exhibit and sell products from our featured partners. This model is designed to cater to walk-in customers, particularly SMEs, who seek immediate purchases without going through the procurement process. It also supports customers who prefer to buy upfront with small values and volumes, whether on cash or credit.

Logistics and Supply Chain

This function holds significant importance and has a profound impact on supplier and customer engagement. In the MRO business, these equipment and parts are critical for plant operations. As we work closely with customers to optimize their inventory, it’s crucial that we ensure timely availability of parts. Our association with multiple logistic partners enables us to meet customer on-time delivery KPIs and delivery schedules.

Become a Partner

ROCKFORT Industrial Solutions has a business model wherein we sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with an OEM. We offer all the activities mentioned above, along with guaranteed functions, in the shortest possible time and at almost no cost. In this model, we allocate a products/application engineer who will fulfill all assigned tasks as needed by the OEM. Additionally, we collaboratively develop a sales and business development plan, and derive a roadmap to achieve our common goals.
